Say: voh ish s shpee-TAAL. 'Spital' = hospital (Standard German 'Krankenhaus').

Say: voh ish duh ah-POH-teh. 'Apote' = pharmacy (Standard German 'Apotheke').
Ich fühl mi nöd guet	I do not feel well	Ich fühl mi nöd guet. I do not feel well.
Say: ish fuel mee nud goot. 'nöd' = nicht; 'guet' = gut.
Mir isch schlächt	I feel sick	Mir isch schlächt. I feel sick.
Say: meer ish shlekht. 'schlächt' = schlecht (bad/unwell).

Say: ish hah SHMER-tseh. 'Schmärze' = Schmerzen; 'do' = here.

Say: khund zee meer HEL-feh. Formal 'Chönd Sie' = can you.

Say: RUE-fed UEP-per. 'öpper' = someone.

Say: voh ish duh OOS-gang. 'Uusgang' = Ausgang (exit).

Say: AKH-toong. A warning; note the throaty 'ch'.
