eis	one	Nur eis. Just one.
Say: ice. Zurich form of Standard German 'eins'.
zwöi	two	Zwöi Kafi. Two coffees.
Say: tsvoey. Zurich 'zwöi' (Standard German 'zwei').
drü	three	Für drü. For three.
Say: drue (ü = rounded ee). Zurich 'drü' (Standard German 'drei').
vier	four	Vier Stück. Four pieces.
Say: feer. Same as Standard German 'vier'.
föif	five	Föif Franke. Five francs.
Say: foeif. Zurich 'föif' (Standard German 'fünf').
sächs	six	Am sächse. At six.
Say: sekhs. Note the throaty 'chs'.
sibe	seven	Sibe Tag. Seven days.
Say: ZEE-beh. Standard German 'sieben', final -n dropped.
acht	eight	Am achti. At eight.
Say: akht. 'am achti' = at eight o'clock.
nüün	nine	Nüün Uhr. Nine o'clock.
Say: nuen. Zurich 'nüün' (Standard German 'neun').
zäh	ten	Zäh Minute. Ten minutes.
Say: tsae. Zurich 'zäh' (Standard German 'zehn').
zwänzg	twenty	Zwänzg Franke. Twenty francs.
Say: TSVENTSK. Zurich 'zwänzg' (Standard German 'zwanzig').
hundert	hundred	Hundert Franke. A hundred francs.
Say: HOON-dert. Same as Standard German.
Wie spaat isch es?	What time is it?	Exgüsi, wie spaat isch es? Excuse me, what time is it?
Say: vee shpaht ish es. 'spaat' = late; used to ask the time.
Es isch eis	It is one o'clock	Es isch eis. It is one o'clock.
Say: es ish ice.
halbi zwöi	half past one	Es isch halbi zwöi. It is half past one.
Say: HAL-bee tsvoey. Like German, 'halbi zwöi' means half TO two, i.e. 1:30.
Viertel ab	quarter past	Viertel ab drü. Quarter past three.
Say: FEER-tel ab. 'ab' = past.
Viertel vor	quarter to	Viertel vor achti. Quarter to eight.
Say: FEER-tel for. 'vor' = to/before.
am Morge	in the morning	Am Morge. In the morning.
Say: am MOR-geh. 'Morge' = Morgen.
am Abig	in the evening	Am Abig. In the evening.
Say: am AH-big. 'Abig' = Abend.
de Franke	the franc	Zäh Franke. Ten francs.
Say: FRAN-keh. The Swiss currency (CHF).
de Rappe	the rappen (cent)	Füfzg Rappe. Fifty rappen.
Say: RAP-peh. 100 Rappe = 1 Franke.
Wie viel choschtet das?	How much does that cost?	Wie viel choschtet das? How much does that cost?
Say: vee feel KHOSH-tet das. 'choschte' = to cost.
zäme	altogether / together	Wie viel zäme? How much altogether?
Say: TSEH-meh. Used to ask for a total.
